x2
Low cost smartphone market is at its peak and Chinese manufacturer UMI plans to take advantage of it by launching the X2. Although UMI doesn't hold a good track record in India, it has already launched the X1 which became a huge success worldwide. The X1 completely redefined the budget smartphone market and gave the bigger companies a run for their money. Companies like Micromax, Karbonn and Lava always steal the show when it comes to budget smartphones in India. But, UMI is striving hard to capture the limelight with its X2. The X2 is a brilliant phone with features of a premium phone packed inside. It is priced at Rs. 14,000 and poses to be a strong rival to Micromax Canvas HD.

The UMI X2 looks posh, stylish and much similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3 with its pearl white colour, large 5 inch screen and curved edges. There's a strip of metal running along its sides which gives a premium feel to the phone. It sports a 5-inch full HD 1080p IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 over it. It beams a pixel density of 441ppi which is much higher than the iPhone 5 and on par with HTC butterfly and Sony Xperia Z. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean runs as smooth as butter on the X2- thanks to its hardware. It is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Quad core processor manufactured by MediaTek and 2GB of RAM is also coupled with it. X2's rival- Micromax Canvas HD, has just 1GB of RAM under the hood. The X2 has 32GB of memory on board which is quite sufficient for apps and media. Furthermore, a microSD card slot is also provided for memory expansion. A 13MP primary camera with LED flash is provided at the rear and a 3MP secondary camera(Yeah! You read it right - 3MP)  is provided at the front for video calling. Although VGA/2MP has been the standard for secondary camera, UMI has managed to give 3MP. On the connectivity side, the X2 sports 3G, Wifi(802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone runs on a 2500mAh battery which will last for a day. The X2 just blows away every budget smartphone in the market and burns Micromax Canvas HD into ashes with its impressive specs. UMI has provided the highest hardware support to the X2 and we hope it will attract a lot of buyers. HD display, quad core processor, Android Jelly Bean, 13MP camera - What else do you need ? UMI has provided all the features that a phone worth 40,000 could have. The UMI X2 is definitely a bang for the buck, go for it.
